JUNE 12 2017

It’s been awhile since I posted anything, so I’m going to try to keep this up to date.

The death of Chris Cornell so shocked me I still have not come to terms with it. I keep thinking I’m going to hear from him or see him. I tried to listen to Soundgarden and found it to hard, and music is made to make you happy - I’m going have to come to terms with it and come back to the music which I truly like and love at some point.

Even Adam West dying affected me even though he was eighty nine - I grew up with the original series as a child and all the later Batmen were no Adam West he encompasses Batman.

On the work front, I’ve photographed Ghost which I enjoyed far more than I expected. Metallica with the best stadium show you will ever see. Henry Rollins in Los Angeles who it was good to reconnect with - Rival Sons without a doubt the best new band of the moment - Aerosmith who I’m photographing at the moment are still fun in a odd way. Had a day out with Joe Perry around London which was a lot of fun. The highlight of the month so far was running into Ian Hunter at Sweden Rock who is always a pleasure to see and one of my true ‘Heroes’.
