Fifty years ago this week… I saw this in the local cinema and after Joan Baez was on being very pompous and full of herself it was followed by The Who. To fourteen year old me, it was my elliptical moment. Roger Daltrey looked liked an adonis God the rest looked like you wouldn’t mess with them-I had discovered the Who, at the end of their set Pete Townshend tosses his guitar in the crowd and walks off. I just watched it today it still stands up one of the best if not the best music documentary’s ever.
