Judas Priest, Sofi Theatre.
First time I’ve been here, good to photograph here. I’ve known Priest since 1977 when I shot them for SOUNDS, long gone but in the 70’s a great music paper.
So of course I get the ‘Metal God’ in the toilet. Actually the real reason I use the toilet is because the light is even and far more flattering than in a dressing room with spotlights.
They were the ‘Metal Gods’ tonight all of them and you couldn’t beat the run of hits at the end of the show.
