Sydney, Remembrance Sunday. I found the harbour and Opera House to be quite beautiful, except for the rather obscenely oversized cruise ship. You could look out over the harbour and remember. My Father, and two of my Uncles fought in WWII, one was a prisoner of the Germans and the other of the Japanese. He built the bridge on the river Kwai. The old lie; “Dulce et Decorum est Pro patria mori”.
